Assignment: Learning to Love (M/F) ~ Honor James

HAWT MEN IN AND OUT OF UNIFORM

Blurb:

Georgiana Regina Lucille Fletcher, Gigi to those who know and love her, is a romance author who doesn’t believe true and lasting love exists. She knows of some rare cases that buck the convention, but they are the exception to the rule. Then she meets a man who goes above and beyond to see to her health and happiness. Maybe she was wrong.

Michael Burnett had only one job, ensure the bride married her man, and there were no complications. Simple enough in principle. Only it wasn’t the bride being targeted, but a feisty redhead who stole his heart from moment one of meeting her.

Close quarters during a nasty storm help form the bonds between them. But when he ships back out overseas for the remainder of his tour, what Gigi feels for Michael grows beyond anything she can describe. Now all she has to do is survive the attempts on her life and find her own fairytale ending.

Excerpt:

“The only word I’m going to say is get naked, Master Sergeant.” She tugged her robe off, standing before him with just the towel around her hair since she let the one around her body drop too. She wasn’t ashamed of her body, but when he just stood there, she did shift from foot to foot and lifted a hand to cover her middle. “Was that too much too fast?”
“Hell no.” He breathed out on a groan. “Damn woman, you are gorgeous.” Michael stood there a moment longer before he shook his head and blinked. Bending, he worked at his boots, kicking them off as he tore his shirt over his head. Next, he got rid of his pants and socks. Straightening, he gave her the same chance to stare at him as he’d taken with her.
Gigi approached him slowly and reached out to touch him. Her fingers brushed the vee shape of muscles that went down his front, and she lost more than half her brain cells as she touched him. “Goodness. I don’t know what this muscle here is called.” She looked up at him and stepped impossibly closer. “But I swear it makes me forget everything that’s happening.” Licking her lips, she waited, needing and wanting more. “Kiss me again?” She asked and let her hands drift down so that they lightly brushed the girth of his erection and then wrapped her hands around the heated length of him. “God I’ve wondered all this time just how you looked and now I want to taste you.” She licked her lips and looked down at him. She wanted to lick him, suck him, god she wanted everything.
Groaning, he swayed closer to her, then away slightly. “You talk a lot when you’re nervous,” he said softly. Leaning his head in, he kissed her, backing her toward the bed slowly, and nibbled on her mouth. “Later, you can do anything you want, but right now I need you.” He stopped and muttered out a curse. “Condoms,” he mumbled, his brow furrowing in thought.
“Have an IUD. I had it put in the moment I came back because I knew that I needed and wanted to be with you. I wanted to be with you skin-to-skin.” Her hands moved over his chest and she turned and looked up at him. “I have nothing. I’ve been tested for everything under the sun because of cutting the guy on the island and whatnot.” She just wanted to be skin-to-skin with him now and for as long as he would keep her.
“Well you know I haven’t been with anyone,” he said softly. “I’ve been waiting for you. Had to, no way I could be with anyone else after meeting you. You sure?” he asked softly. Lifting his hand, he brushed his fingers slowly down her cheek. Michael stepped in closer to her, his skin brushing to hers with every breath they each took.
“God yes, I’m sure.” She couldn’t be more certain of anything at all, even if she tried. “Please.” She let her fingers brush over his skin and leaned up on her toes. “So no more talking.” She reached up and pulled him down to her, kissing him with the need and want she had for the last year.
His hands cupped her ass and lifted her from her feet. The brush of her comforter over her skin was cool. Slowly he eased his weight down over her, pressing her deeper into the mattress as he continued to kiss her. He let out a low moan that slid into her mouth, his chest vibrating against hers.
Her heels wrapped around his ass and tugged him closer. “No more teasing, no more thinking. I need you inside of me. Now.” She knew that was crazy, but it was the truth. She needed to have him loving her right now.
Licking his lips, he stared down at her. One of his hands slid between them and down to cup her pussy. His eyelids drifted shut as he slid a finger between her folds, spreading her juices around. “God damn, you are so wet for me, honey. Later, later I want a taste of you. Only when I know I’ll fully enjoy it.”
“Only if you let me do the same.” She lifted slightly, pushing herself against him as she did so. “God I love the way that you feel. Please, more.” She loved the fullness, the way that he would curl his finger and brush that sensitive spot inside of her. She loved all of it. “More.” It was a demand, pure and simple.
“Need to be inside of you, now,” he said. Withdrawing his finger, he lifted her leg up and out. Rocking his hips, he rubbed his cock through her folds. In a slow slide of flesh, he pressed into her pussy and filled her.
Gigi’s head arched back and she shuddered. Holy hell, that felt amazing. Her nails bit into his shoulders and she tugged him closer, her legs wrapping around his hips and lifting herself up so that she could meet him thrust for thrust. “So good,” she moaned with a sob of pure pleasure. She had known that they would be perfect together, now they were and she was happier than she could ever express.
“Look at me, honey,” he said. Each thrust jolted her against the bedding as they found their rhythm together. Over and over, he pushed deep into her slick pussy. His fingers squeezed on her thigh. “Let me see you, Gina. Look at me so I can see everything.”

Rise of the Lost Prince, Lost Boys (M/F) ~ London Saint James

Blurb:

They fight to protect those who would never welcome them into the human world...

Petúr always knew he and his brothers-in-arms were different. Something more. Something not human. Yet, he never expected to find out the truth of their origins, nor fall for a human woman whose father was set to destroy Neverland.

Ever since she was a child, Wyndi dreamed of an angel with eyes of the purest gold, although she never really believed such a man existed until she met the hauntingly beautiful Petúr of the lost boys.

With a prophecy to fulfill, a woman to protect, a portal to find, and evil darklings out for blood, will Petúr be strong enough to rise up and claim what’s rightfully his, or lose everything to a long-time nemesis, Grapple the Dark?

Be warned:  voyeurism, violence

Excerpt:

“Where are we going?” Wyndi asked.
“My room.” Five rapid heartbeats later, they were inside his bedroom with Petúr kicking the door closed behind them. “I need to know something,” he said in his honey tones.
Wyndi glanced up at him from under her lashes, and shivered. He was staring at her with eyes glinting gold. The braid he wore in his hair dangled down the right side of his cheek, tickling her.
“What do you want to know?”
“This.”
Petúr bent his head, slanted his mouth over hers, tongue tasting the line of her lips until she parted them on an intake of breath. When their flesh met, she closed her eyes. Fireworks exploded inside her head, the luminous sparks floating, then falling, falling, and transitioning into a force crashing down over her—a title wave of longing. She moaned, tasting the summer sky, morning dew, the sweetness of rainbows, sultry nights, and rain storms.
Mind whirling, her body shifting, she was lying on her back, fingers tangled into the nape of Petúr’s satiny hair, the other hand pressed against the steely strength of his shirt-covered chest. Every part of her became aware of him on some sort of molecular level. Yet nothing could have prepared her for what she experienced when he tucked himself between her thighs and groaned. Heat slammed into her core. Her stomach quivered. Her panties dampened. An inferno. Yes, surely it must be an inferno which lapped at her skin while their tongues tangled into infinity.
****
Petúr was lost in an ocean of sensation, wave after wave, pulling him under. The connection to this woman beneath him was undeniable. Everything about Wyndi filled him up until there was nothing but her. Her taste. Her touch. Her scent. His chest expanded.
Damn, her scent. She tasted better than the cotton candy fragrance that wafted from her skin. Skin. Oh, yes, skin. That’s what he needed, to feel her soft skin against his.
“Wyndi.” He breathed, saddened to break the kiss, reaching over his shoulder, yanking the material of his shirt, lifting up with the other hand, and pulling the garment from over his head. “I must feel your flesh against mine.”
Her tongue darted out, licking her lips. Was she nervous? Well, he’d be the balm to soothe those nerves. He focused on her mouth. Those delicious lips were kiss swollen and moist, making his cock strain even more against the constraint of his pants.
“Okay,” she said in a small, breathy voice, the lids covering her blue eyes at half-mast.
He reached for the hem of the too big nightshirt covering the body he had to see, lifting until he revealed her little white panties and lacy bra covered breasts. Blood raced through his veins. He wanted to do everything with her. To her. Touch all over. Taste every inch of her. Put his fingers and cock into the tight, warm sheath he knew was awaiting him.
Take her. Hell yeah. Those two words became a chant within his mind. He wanted to take his woman in every position he could imagine and then some. His woman? Yes. Yes she was his, or would be. Slow your roll. You don’t want to scare her. He had to maintain. He couldn’t go at her like some out of control beast.
Leaning down, he kissed between the creamy mounds of her cleavage, skimmed his cheek across the apex of her right breast, watching goose bumps scatter across her flesh in a wanton invitation. Unable to stop himself from licking her, he lapped at her in one, long, lingering stroke, from the top edge of the bra, up her collarbone, only stopping because the material he’d lifted hindered his progress being bunched around her neck.
“Oh, hell,” he muttered. “You taste so good.”

Mystic Hearts, Band of Friends 2 (M/F) ~ Cait Jarrod

From the Author...

I’ve often been asked why I chose a circle of friends to write about for my first series.

Bringing a new story about the tight knit group of friends from Fredericksburg, Virginia, was like coming home, especially since I’ve lived in the area all my life. The friends I’ve made over the years, and have continued to keep in touch with, are much like the people in this book—minus the bombs and gunfights. Instead of a weekly cocktail hour, we get together at least once month at a winery, brewery or the lake.

Blurb:

Nothing is as it seems….

Temptation landed at Special Agent Larry Newman’s feet—literally. Charlene Smith captured his heart after he rescued her from terrorists two months ago. A failed relationship and being an abused child have turned him into a loner and workaholic. The scars weigh heavy on him and keep him from pursuing her. So what’s a guy to do when the woman he pines for passes out in front of him while working a case?

Battling psychological wounds from abduction is easier than coming face to face with the sexy FBI agent she’s fantasized about for months. A single mother, avoiding the drama that dating would bring to her son’s life, she allows Larry close only in her dreams. Now, she's second-guessing her decision. Should she have a relationship with this man who makes her feel alive just by being close?

Excerpt:

His breath drifted across her face, stirring a desire she’d only felt once before. Impossible, as Larry had been the only man who’d stimulated outrageous cravings. A hallucination can’t do that. Can it?
He slid another finger down her cheek. She quivered. The electricity produced a throbbing in her body and prevented her from grasping onto any one emotion. One second, she was delusional, the next, she melted. “How can I feel you?”
“You’re not asking the right question.” His voice filled with mischief.
The one she asked seemed important. “What is the right one?”
His hands slapped the wall on each side of her head, trapping her. Anticipating an imprisoned impression, she tensed.
It didn’t occur. “What is the right—” Her whisper broke off when he moved closer, aligning his over six-foot stature perfectly to her five-foot-five frame.
“Why do I allow you?” he asked, his voice teasing.
Good question, yet why did he joke? Was this a game to him? “Why?”
A mere fraction stood between their bodies, and she wanted to taste him, have his lips move across hers.
“I’ve wanted you since the day I saw you,” he whispered.
Her vision cleared. She bit her lip and gazed into his eyes, watching as the gold flecks sparkled. “Larry?” she asked, her voice a little louder than a whisper.
His dark, intense brows that made guys look extremely sexy, lifted. “Were you expecting someone else?”
She shook her head and let her eyes drift down the open shirt. Broad shoulders, flat abs framed by a narrowed waist. He had that sleek, muscled look that said he had kicked ass.
He lifted her chin with his finger, bringing her gaze back to his. “A woman’s wet lips captivate a man.” His eyes shifted to her mouth.
She fought the urge to squirm. The man was potent.
“When moisture forms on them,” his voice dropped an octave, “it lets him know if he’s worthy to touch her.”
The seduction warmed her already overheated body. “Are you…worthy?”
“Your lips say so.”
The air crackled between them.
Her pulse raced, throwing her back onto the merry-go-round ride. This time, her vision wasn’t distorted, her heart was.
“I’ve dreamed of doing this.”
If she was hallucinating, she didn’t want the delirium to end.
He leaned toward her, his mouth coming in for the capture. She couldn’t wait. Her lips parted.
His soft lips glided over hers. The kiss so delicate, so gentle, she felt like the treasure at the end of a rainbow. A gem someone looked long and hard to find. The hallucinations had played tricks on her all night.
Is this another trick?
She had to touch him to find out if she lived a dream or not. She placed her hands on his hardened pecs. Every nerve ending in her palms shot a jolt of awareness between her legs. If this was an illusion, she wanted more. Lots more.
A low growl escaped him, vibrating through her body. He nipped her bottom lip before taking the kiss deeper. His tongue tangled with hers, urging a response and threatening to pull well-hidden passion out of the secure hiding place she’d created two years ago.

Nothing like a heroine taking charge!

I love Charlene Smith’s journey from submissiveness to taking charge of her life. She figuratively slams her hands on the table and says, “No more.” She’ll no longer allow her ex-husband to control her like he had while they were married. She’ll no longer allow him to use their son as a pawn. Instead of slamming her hand down on a desk or gingerly saying, “No more,” read the excerpt below from Mystic Hearts, Book 2 of The Band of Friends, to find out how Charlene decides she can and will fight.

The venomous tone, at one time, would have had her withering. But not anymore. “Pig!”
Her ex-husband charged toward her, eyes wild, nostrils flaring.
She swung, faking high and going low. The bat connected with his stomach.
“Fuck,” he puffed and clutched his gut. “You’ll pay.” He straightened and snatched the butcher knife from the block on the kitchen counter.
Crap!
The shiny blade glistened above his head.
It was her or him. She dug deep, seizing strength from all the wrongs Andrew had inflicted on her family, fortifying her with the power for what she needed to do. She raised the bat behind her head and went for the homerun...for her...her mother...and most importantly, her son. She struck his arm. Bones cracked. The knife flew out of his hand. He stumbled backwards, holding his wrist, and fell backwards into the wall. She raised it again, aiming for his head.
The bastard is Henry’s father, her conscience screamed.
At the last second, she pulled back and clobbered him square in the ribs.
Yelping, he collapsed on the floor. “You bitch!”
She lowered her hand, clasping the handle, ready to swing. “Not another word. Get the hell out of my house!”
“I’ll be back!”
She raised the bat. “You asked for it.”
“No!” He held up his good hand and sidestepped.

DO YOU BELIEVE IN GHOSTS?

In the romantic suspense Mystic Hearts, I touched on the idea that ghosts exist in Greenwood Manor in Spotsylvania, Virginia. Spotsylvania and the nearby city Fredericksburg are counties some of the Civil War battles were fought.

A sneak peek into the sightings mentioned in Mystic Hearts:

The Madison Hand was a fictitious scare tactic by my oldest brother. He loved to scare and tease me. The Madison Hand, as I described in the book, was taken from one of the many things he invented to torment me. I can smile now with fond memories, but then…not so much.

As for the other item I mentioned, the white patch flowing through the sky was not another tactic constructed by my brother. Each time I saw the bizarre shape and movements, my brother wasn’t home, so I can’t blame or accuse him…

I’m not alone. Others have witnessed peculiar sightings in Spotsylvania, Fredericksburg and the surrounding areas.

People either believe in ghosts or they don’t. Many rationalize the strange phenomena as a freak of nature or their eyes playing tricks on them for a brief moment. Others wholeheartedly trust their sight and know what they saw.

Whatever you believe, I hope you enjoy the websites I’ve listed below.

The Treasure Hunters (M/F) ~ Beth D. Carter

From the Author...

Thank you so much for hosting me!  “The Treasure Hunters” started out as a movie script many years ago.  I’ve always known I wanted to be a writer, I just didn’t know in which media my passion lay.  I’ve written poetry and I wrote several movie scripts.  The Treasure Hunters was my last one and it was then that I decided I did NOT want to write in such a limited capacity any more.  So I switched to novels and I’ve been in love ever since.

I adore the Roaring Twenties.  Perhaps I have a past life centered in that time frame.  Everything from the lingo to the “live and die” attitude of the times.  It was a grand time for women, a very liberating movement that began with women’s suffrage.  This is my second book set in this time period, and this time, I tackled the horrible end of that golden age…the Stock Market Crash.  The subsequent weeks after October 29th defined the next decade and the attitude of so many people.

In The Treasure Hunters, my heroine, Ruby, feels the weight of the world on her shoulders.  Everything she does is with her friends in mind.  So when she finds a treasure map, she’s full steam ahead.  I consider her adventure a little bit Indiana Jones meets Sahara (the Brooke Shields version).  Happy reading!

Blurb:

When the stock market crashes on October 29, 1929, it doesn’t take long for Ruby Talcott to lose everything.  Her father’s shipping legacy slips through her fingers.  Alone, destitute, she packs up her two best friends Eden and Merridie, and takes them to England for a new life.

Working in her family’s warehouse of unclaimed cargo, she foils a plot to steal a map.  But this isn’t just any map…it’s to a lost pirate treasure.  Ruby takes the map for herself and convinces Eden and Merridie to go with her to find the priceless treasure.

She finds Captain Sinclair Dardon, a man also hit hard by the economic turn, to sail them towards adventure.  But Ruby didn’t count on her wild attraction to the handsome Captain.  Nor did she expect he has his own bad guys hunting him.

Excerpt:

She was vaguely aware her mouth dropped open. Before her wasn’t the typical scruffy-bearded, dirty boat captain.  This man was young.  And handsome.  More butterflies fluttered in her stomach.  He had short black hair that looked like he’d been running his fingers through it in aggravation.  He needed a shave, but Ruby rather thought his slight whiskers enhanced his looks rather than detracted.  Although he looked tough, he had kind eyes––blue maybe, or green.  It was hard to tell in the muted lantern light.  He was tall, muscular, and when their gazes met her heart stuttered in her chest.
“My name is Sin,” he said, introducing himself, although his gaze stayed locked upon her.
“Literally or figuratively?” Merridie asked dryly.
He winked at her.  “Captain Sinclair Dardon.  Who are you, and how may I help you?”
“I’m Ruby Talcott, and that’s Merridie Morgan and Eden Cariker.  We need passage to Africa,” Ruby said, ignoring the odd excitement gripping her insides.  Now was not the time to get distracted by a pretty face.  Oh, but that was easier said than done, especially once he turned those hypnotizing eyes back her way.
“Why do you think I can help?”
“The registry office has you listed on heading to Africa this morning.  We just need a ride.”
“I’m not a passenger ship.”
“We won’t be passengers,” Ruby insisted.  “We can earn our way.”
The way his gaze traveled up and down her body had her blood heating up and leaving little doubt to what was going through his lascivious mind.
“This isn’t a whorehouse either,” he stated.

Author Bio:

I like writing about the very ordinary girl thrust into extraordinary circumstances, so my heroines will probably never be lawyers, doctors or corporate highrollers.  I try to write characters who aren't cookie cutters and push myself to write complicated situations that I have no idea how to resolve, forcing me to think outside the box.  I love writing characters who are real, complex and full of flaws, heroes and heroines who find redemption through love.

I’ve been pretty fortunate in life to experience some amazing things.  I’ve lived in France, traveled throughout Europe, Australia and New Zealand.  I am a mom to an amazing little boy.  I’m surrounded by friends and family.  I hate washing dishes but I love cooking. I hate washing clothes but I love wearing them. Writing my bio is difficult because I never know what to say so I hope you like this one.  My favorite color is red but I look best in black (it’s slimming).  I hate people who don't pick up their dog's crap in public places, people who don’t use turn signals, and I really hate people who are rude and condescending. I especially hate discrimination in all and every form.  And although I love holding a book in my hand, I absolutely adore my e-reader, whom I’ve named Ruby.  I love to hear from readers so I’ve made it really easy to find me on the web:

Guardians of the Light Series (M/F) ~ April Zyon

Blurb:

Riley Jensen has always known a lie for what it is. When the lies the world tell on a daily basis became too much she sought out a sanctuary behind thick walls. Only the lies didn’t stop at the door, they followed her and now she has a mystery to unravel. Unfortunately it appears someone else is looking for her.

Hector is a warrior, first and foremost. One who’s been forced to watch generation, after generation come and go. But he is a man with a purpose, a greater calling, one that demands his all to protect Humanity from the evils that wish to enslave it. Finding the one to call his own was nothing more than a dream, until he meets her.

Danger will hunt her. Lies will blend with truths. And only one of the Vestal’s can separate it all to show the Guardians the path.

Excerpt:

He suddenly rolled over her, his larger body pressing hers down into the bed. “I like being very hands-on in my demonstrations. It doesn’t mean that we won’t be having a little discussion, as well. After all, without a constructive and mutual exchange, how can we learn what the other likes?”
Riley licked her lips again. “I think that we should definitely do hands-on.” She moved in just a bit closer to him and rubbed her leg against the growing and impressive erection that he was sporting. “I think that we should get undressed and figure out just how well we might fit together.” That was her first thought, at least—getting naked with him.
He smiled slowly and shook his head. “Not quite yet,” he said softly. Lowering his head, he nipped at her jaw. “There are a couple things I should mention to you. Especially since you’re rather new to all of this, I’m guessing, from your earlier reactions.”
His mouth moved down to her neck, his lips and teeth lightly teasing her. “I’m very dominant in bed. As a warrior, I need to be. I have certain skills that can be very deadly in any situation, so it’s just easier for me to be in control at all times. I’m not saying that you won’t ever have a chance to be on top, as it were, just know that for the most part, I have to be in complete and total control.”
“I’m perfectly fine with that.” She arched against him and bit her lower lip. “I think that I was born to be submissive.” If her reactions were anything to go on. She was perfectly happy to follow his lead and the idea of him being in complete control thrilled her. She wanted more. Hell, she needed more and knew it. She had to have him. “Because I know that no matter what, you will always ensure that I have as much pleasure as you.”
“Definitely,” he breathed against her pulse. When he sank his teeth into her neck, at the point where it joined her shoulder, she jolted against him. The bite didn’t hurt—it was just a bit of pressure from his teeth before he scraped them over her skin lightly. “I think we’ll be just fine in all aspects, Riley. Now, I want you to get naked, fast if you would please.” He pushed up and off her and was standing at the end of the bed before her brain even registered he’d actually moved.
She wouldn’t and couldn’t deny him. She stood and stripped out of her clothes as fast as she could. Licking her lips, she watched him with her hands at the clasp of her bra. “Why is it that I’m nearly naked and you aren’t even pulling off anything?” She stood there in her peach-colored bra and panties, silk and skimpy, with little bows at her hips and between her breasts.
He tipped his head slightly and pulled his undershirt off, tossing it to the side. His hands went to his pants, undoing them before he bent to strip them down. Interesting tidbit—Hector goes commando. As he straightened, he tossed them to the side with the rest of his clothing and cocked a brow as he stood there, naked.
Riley’s eyes were on his rather impressive erection. The man was hard and large, all over. She tugged off her bra and tossed it somewhere behind her. Pushing her panties down, she moved back to the bed. Her body was aching for him. She wanted to touch all of the scars on him, kiss them, and try to get him to understand that she hurt for his past hurts. She ached because of the pain he had endured.
“On your back. Arms over your head. You can hold onto the headboard, if you’d like,” he told her. He stepped closer to the bed, but didn’t climb up as he watched her with hungry eyes. “Then, I want you to spread your legs, bending your knees up to show me all of you.”
Riley did just as he instructed, gripping the headboard tightly. She shifted her bottom just a bit and allowed her thighs to open widely.
A low growl sounded from him as he leaned onto his hands, climbing up between her legs. He brushed a kiss to her inner thigh, meeting her gaze as he began to nibble down toward her pussy. Not once did he break the connection, even as he lifted to give her other thigh the same treatment.
Riley wouldn’t allow her eyes to turn from his. She was drawn to the heat in his gaze. She couldn’t turn away, even if she wanted to. She lifted her hips slightly, biting her lower lip and begging, “Hector, just a bit lower.” She wanted to let go of the headboard and put her hands on his head, but she let him do with her body as he desired.
Her words earned her a sharp bite to her inner thigh. It hurt for a moment, but then he was soothing it with his tongue. Sitting up, he pressed her legs wider as he lowered his head, his gaze still on hers. She heard him inhale and saw the look of pleasure that rolled over his face as he took in the scent of her body calling to him. “You’re very wet. I like the way you respond to me, Riley. Would you like me to touch you, or would you prefer I feast on your pussy first?”
She didn’t know. She needed both, wanted both, and God help her, she was going to scream without both. “Please,” she whimpered and looked up at him with need and passion painted over her features. “I’m yours. Do whatever you want.” She gave full control to him because she knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that she would enjoy everything he gave her.

Excerpt:

He came back to the bed and climbed up. Then, he moved her around until she was in the center and he was straddling her waist. “Arms over your head. I want you to hold onto the headboard and not let go. If you do, I stop. We clear?” he asked her as he drew a finger slowly down over a breast, just avoiding her tight nipple as he went.
“Yes.” She did as she was told, her fingers clenching the underside of the headboard, her eyes on him. “Not letting go.” Oh mercy, I needed this. Her back arched up when he teased his hand just past her nipple again. A move that was clearly designed to make her beg.
“Good.” He nodded. Pressing both hands to the bed, he leaned in. His goal seemed to be her neck. He pressed a kiss there before he nipped lightly. His tongue slid over the spot a moment later and soothed away the small sting. The other side received the same and then he began a slow—so very slow—path down to her chest and over to a breast with his mouth.
Emily’s eyes slid shut, and she only felt. Her foot braced on the bed, and she lifted her hips to rub against him in invitation, waiting to see what punishment he would give her for trying to top from the bottom.
He pressed down on her thighs and growled. “Be still,” he said, his voice rough and commanding. “Do that again and there will be consequences.” A very clear warning, but would she listen or would she disobey?
Her whole body convulsed at his dominant voice. “Yes, sir.” Just saying the words had her pussy clenching and her nipples hardening. God help me, I needed this.
“Good girl.” His tone was a little softer, but still firm. He lowered his head once more and nuzzled at her breast, his lips moving lightly over the flesh until he brushed her nipple. Gently, he slid his tongue to the puckered flesh before drawing it into his mouth and sucking hard.
Her hands tightened on the headboard. She bit her lower lip to keep from lifting her back up from the bed to bring her breast closer to him. Licking her lips, she watched him, her eyes now accustomed to the semi-dark room.
He drew off her nipple with a soft pop and gave her a look of approval before moving to treat her other to the same. When he finished with that one, he took both between his fingers and pinched them as he tugged. Plucking them over and over, he lightly slapped them to pucker them even tighter.

The Prince's Forever, Guardians of the Light 2 (M/F) ~ April Zyon
